Give Students One Less Problem

As the vast majority of degrees entail group work, most students know how painstakingly difficult it is to find a convenient time for all members of your group to be able to meet each week.

I realised this problem when I was in my first year at Exeter University, and I could not believe how frustrating it was when my group and I were trying to pluck random times out of thin air, hoping we would land on a perfect time for six busy students to all be able to meet. The result – every week at least one member of the group would not be there, due to the meeting time chosen being unsuitable. Workload disparity then often followed, lowering group morale and impacting on the quality of work produced. No student needs the added stress of this when trying to concentrate on important uni work.

After conducting market research, I then became aware of how prevalent this issue is for students, along with other connectivity difficulties that make life harder for students in general. I therefore embarked upon a quest to solve these meeting time problems, with a niche and much needed technological solution – in order to enhance the student experience. UniGenie has now finally arrived.
